Fortinet, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the sales team in pre-sales and on technical calls from Lyon, France. You will be the main technical resource on sales calls, explaining features and integration options to customers.

Expected is a strong background in LAN/WAN, networking protocols and security technologies, with fluency in English to communicate with global teams and customers.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
• 5–8 years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
• Strong understanding of DNS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, IDS, antivirus.
• Experience with encryption/authentication technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilités

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint (Pre-sales).
• Be the main technical resource on sales calls and explain features, specs and functionality.
• Support customer on integration and post-sales training as needed.
