Fortinet, a cybersecurity pioneer, is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the sales organization on technical pre‑sales matters and on sales calls. You will educate customers on features, specifications, and integration while serving as the main technical resource.

Ideal candidates will have 5–8 years in technical/pre‑sales roles, strong LAN/WAN experience, and deep knowledge of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP, and encryption technologies, with excellent English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years experience in technical/pre‑sales support as a sales or systems engineer
• 5–8 years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
• Strong understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP
• Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti Virus
• Strong understanding in Protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required
• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Responsabilités

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint (Pre‑sales)
• Be the main technical resource on sales calls and educate customers on features, specifications and functionality to integration
• Conversant with networking applications and solutions
• Provide assistance to identified customers with post‑sales training
