Instruct-ERIC's CHIKO project seeks a motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to advance structural and functional analysis of viral replication complexes in Chikungunya virus infection. Based in Marseille at AFMB, you will lead Cryo-EM studies and collaborate with international labs over a two-year contract.

The role offers opportunities to publish in top-tier journals, develop expertise in cutting-edge techniques, and contribute to high-impact virology research within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• PhD in Structural Biology, Virology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Experience in macromolecular structure determination (Cryo-Electron Microscopy).
• Strong background in protein biochemistry and molecular biology.
• Familiarity with viral systems (RNA viruses).

Responsabilités

• Characterize replication complexes across infection stages.
• Determine high-resolution structures of replication complexes by Cryo-EM.
• Assess biochemical and enzymatic activities of replication complexes.
• Collaborate with team and report results at meetings and in publications.
