IRD Occitanie seeks a population genetics engineer to study plant adaptation using genomic and climate data. The role reports to the unit director within the DIADE team and involves collaboration across institutes.
The project focuses on climate-related evolution in tropical crops and requires strong quantitative genetics and biostatistics foundations. Montpellier-based, fieldwork may occur in regional partners.
Competenze
- Master's degree in genetics, genomics or related field.
- Strong understanding of population genetics concepts and analyses.
- Experience with biostatistics and quantitative genetics is a plus.
