CNRS invites applications for a joint PhD position focusing on fault-tolerant quantum computing and its applications in chemical and condensed matter physics. The candidate will work within collaboration between LOMA and LaBRI, pursuing algorithm implementation and optimization in a cross-disciplinary environment.

The profile requires a Master’s degree in theoretical physics, chemical physics, or quantum computing, and an interest in numerical methods and simulation.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field and strong interest in numerical methods.
  • Experience or interest in quantum computing and simulations.
  • Motivation for interdisciplinary research in physics and computation.
