Job summary

Pasqal is seeking a Mid-Sr Quantum Developer to contribute to the software stack, implement key subroutines, and interact with customers to explore quantum applications on neutral-atom hardware. The role involves advancing the logical computing architecture and interfacing with internal teams and external collaborators.

The position requires PhD-level expertise in quantum information, strong Python programming, and experience with quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Pennylane, qadence).

Qualifications

• PhD in a technical field (CS, Physics or Mathematics) with relevant research projects.
• Proactive, autonomous team player with strong collaboration skills.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary teams and research environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop quantum algorithms and hardware-aware primitives for early fault-tolerant regimes.
• Analyse quantum error correction and circuit compilation strategies across the stack.
• Collaborate with customers and academics to target industry-relevant problems.
• Prepare publications and contribute to IP portfolio.
• Present results in internal discussions and external conferences.
• Maintain ongoing awareness of new developments in the field.
• Engage in inventive activity and file patents where applicable.
