CERFACS propose une opportunité postdoctorale à Toulouse pour développer et optimiser des algorithmes quantiques appliqués à la simulation scientifique.

Le candidat contribuera à la conception de solveurs numériques quantiques destinés à la dynamique des fluids, à la combustion et aux prévisions météorologiques, en s’inscrivant au cœur des enjeux de l’informatique quantique et des simulations scientifiques.

Qualifications

• Antécédents en informatique quantique et algorithmes quantiques.
• Intérêt pour développer des solveurs numériques quantiques pour les sciences.
• Bonne compréhension des applications en dynamique des fluides, combustion et météorologie.

Responsabilités

• Concevoir et implémenter des solveurs numériques quantiques pour des applications scientifiques.
• Contribuer au développement de la recherche au croisement de l’informatique quantique et de la simulation scientifique.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of quantum numerical solvers targeting applications such as fluid dynamics, combustion simulations, and weather forecasting. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to world‑class research at the intersection of quantum computing and scientific simulation, addressing some of the key challenges in achieving quantum advantage for real‑world applications.
