You will work at the intersection of operations, data, and technology, leveraging n8n, Alteryx, SQL, APIs, and LLMs to reduce manual effort and prevent payroll errors.

• Experience in designing and deploying production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Map end-to-end payroll processes and data flows.
• Identify automation opportunities and assess impact.
• Improve processes and reduce errors before payroll runs.
• Collaborate with payroll/ops to document rules and data needs.
• Build and maintain automated workflows across platforms.
• Apply AI to extract info from documents and route cases.
• Combine rule-based, AI, and human review as appropriate.
• Ensure audit trails, error handling, and approvals are in place.
• Prototype solutions and test with real payroll data.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product/Engineering/Data for platform improvements.
• Handle sensitive payroll data with privacy and security standards.
