Swan is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Payment team in Paris. The role focuses on building banking features, ensuring security and resilience in a regulated environment, and shipping high-quality backend services.

You will collaborate with product teams, design scalable systems, and continuously learn in a fast-paced, hybrid office setup with relocation options and strong compensation. The role requires 3+ years in software development and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as a Software Developer with strong back-end skills (Scala/TypeScript).
• Experience with back-end optimization, observability, SQL queries, and performance.
• Hands-on with CI/CD and distributed/micro-service architectures.

Responsabilités

• You will be technically responsible for one or more projects.
• You will solve problems in a demanding IT domain with a reactive architecture.
• You will design bank-by-API features with the product team.
• You will improve performance as load grows.
• You will ensure adherence to architecture rules and automated tests.
