Qualifications

• 1 year hospital or financial setting experience or 3 years of total customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• Ability to collect and verify patient information and schedule efficiently.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate centralized scheduling of outpatient diagnostics and procedures.
• Verify benefits and obtain pre-certification from payers.
• Collect co-payments/deposits and generate receipts for posting to accounts.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation in records.
• Explain treatment, billing policies and advance directives to patients.
• Escalate scheduling or registration issues and support care coordination.
