Job summary

Syneos Health Commercial Solutions in France seeks a Country Medical Director to lead medical strategy and execution for SMA and other pipeline indications. You will oversee content development, KOL education, and cross-functional support, reporting to the Local General Manager, advancing scientific leadership within Rare Neuromuscular Diseases.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD/PharmD or equivalent scientific degree is required.
• Experience in industry R&D or Medical Affairs is preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and medical leadership for country medical affairs plans.
• Lead the country medical team including field Medical Advisors.
• Interface with external stakeholders (government, societies, KOLs) to gather insights.
• Oversee medical insights gathering and reporting in CRM systems.
• Organize external expert advisory boards and CME programs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to inform strategy and execution.
• Ensure ethical, compliant medical activities in line with laws and codes.
• Support publication activities and local publication strategy.
