Bank of America in Paris is seeking a Compliance & Operational Risk Manager to oversee second line of defence for prudential risks with a focus on Market and Model Risk. The role sits within a high-performing Compliance and Operational Risk team and requires robust regulatory experience.

The position is based in central Paris, offering a challenging environment with interaction across Europe and the UK, and opportunities to contribute to risk governance and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• We are seeking someone to provide prudential LRR coverage (Market & Model Risk focused for Paris).
• Several years of relevant experience in financial services or a similarly regulated sector.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Responsabilités

• Assesses risks and effectiveness of Front-Line Unit and Control Function processes to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Engages in independent compliance and operational risk oversight of FLU or CF performance and third party relationships.
• Identifies and escalates issues and drives actions to address root causes of risk issues.
• Manages inventory of processes, risks, controls, and metrics for risk appetite and reporting violations.
• Assists in developing independent risk management reporting for governance routines.
• Analyzes laws and regulations to provide clear advice and manage risks.
• Reviews risk processes and controls and monitors regulatory changes.
