Bank of America in Paris seeks a Compliance and Operational Risk Manager to provide second line of defence surveillance oversight across Global Markets. You will review, investigate, and escalate potential market abuse and conduct risks identified by surveillance monitoring.

The role partners with Global Markets Compliance and Operational Risk to ensure timely assessment and disposition of alerts, maintaining auditable records and engaging with FLU, Legal, and risk stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Several years experience in a similar role.
• French language proficiency is mandatory for this role.

Responsabilités

• Review and assess escalated surveillance alerts for market abuse, conduct, regulatory, or reputational risks.
• Conduct detailed investigations of trading activity and related information to identify misconduct.
• Prepare clear written assessments and escalation summaries for COR.
• Escalate significant surveillance concerns to senior management and COR.
• Partner with offshore teams to provide guidance on surveillance processes and risk typologies.
• Monitor alert trends and identify gaps requiring enhancements.
