Mars is seeking a Packaging Development Manager – Paper Packaging, based near Aimargues, France. You will own end-to-end recyclable paper bag solutions, from concept to plant industrialization, partnering with suppliers and cross-functional teams to turn sustainable ideas into scalable production.

You will lead risk analysis, line trials, and qualification programs, ensuring compliance with food safety and circularity goals while advancing innovation across Mars' packaging platforms.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with paper-based packaging materials.
• Experience with medium to large packaging formats and barrier paper packaging.
• Strong risk management and qualification protocol knowledge.
• Packaging Engineering degree (or higher) required.
• Fluent English with cross-functional communication skills.
• Food-contact packaging experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end paper packaging innovation projects from brief to deployment.
• Drive qualification protocols with suppliers and sustainability teams.
• Oversee plant-level trials, testing standards and specs optimization.
• Share expertise across cross-functional and global R&D networks.
