Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer in Crolles, France to install, maintain, and repair Edwards equipment at customer sites. You will work within the Customer Center Service team to ensure uptime, safety, and performance, delivering first-time fixes and high customer satisfaction.

You'll operate with strong focus on SHE practices, use SMA for service data, and progress to more complex products after training while collaborating closely with field service colleagues and customers

Qualifications

• Independently conduct installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of Edwards products.
• Utilize Edwards processes, SMA and CMS escalations for quality and satisfaction.
• Perform software setup, basic analytics, fault-finding and troubleshooting within SLAs.
• Follow SHE practices and risk controls during field service activities.
• Be prepared to learn and progress to more complex products after training.
• Provide detailed feedback and concise reports to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot Edwards equipment to achieve FTFR >95%.
• Use SMA, CMS and Edwards processes to support customer satisfaction.
• Set up and maintain software and monitoring platforms on Edwards equipment.
• Work with teammates, prioritise safety and environmental practices on site.
• Await product training to handle more complex ranges.
• Create precise field service reports for line manager and support teams.
• Submit SMA data after task completion to aid data collection.
• Capture service-related information and manage field service notifications/orders.
