Job summary

ASML in France is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to maintain, repair, and install ASML PAS machines at customer sites, with knowledge transfer to customers. Travel to customer premises will be required, potentially up to 65% of time, and occasional shift work may be needed as part of the role.

The position is based in the Chateauneuf-Le-Rouge / Rousset area, within the Business Line Mature Products & Services department, with responsibilities spanning field service and knowledge transfer

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechatronics preferred.
• Hands-on technical experience in a professional environment or during studies.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to Customer Satisfaction.
• Experience following procedures within deadlines.
• Proficient with data analysis, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Able to work under changing workloads and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose problems; coordinate with coworkers and customers.
• Monitor and optimize equipment daily to prevent problems.
• Advise users on actions to correct malfunctions.
• Train customers in equipment use and maintenance.
• Perform admin tasks: procedures, pass-downs, work orders, reports.
• Prepare written technical reports.
• Support less experienced ASML personnel.
• Assist installation teams at customer sites including upgrades and relocations.
