Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, CO is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to oversee stock, par levels, and distribution of clinical supplies. You will manage daily inventory for Saint Joseph Hospital and ensure items are organized, tracked, and available for patient care.

Scheduling is Tue-Sat, 6:00am–2:03PM, with a 40-hour work week. Responsibilities include managing par locations, Kanban visuals, and using the SCIS system to document distributions and audits.

Qualifications

• Six months of related Materials Management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in healthcare supplies.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
• Experience using basic word processing, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, and scheduling apps.
• Ability to use a pallet jack and other materials handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control for stock and non-stock items, set par levels and monitor trends.
• Order and deliver supplies using appropriate systems and suppliers.
• Communicate about supply levels, new products, standardization, and implementation.
• Manage Par Location, PIRS Replenishment, and Kanban visuals.
• Monitor on-hand quantities and reconcile discrepancies.
• Use SCIS to manage distribution, receiving, and reporting per audits.
• Ensure compliance with policies and SOPs.
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly location reports.
