Fortinet is looking for a Network Security QA Engineer to join their EMEA Customer Readiness Testing team in Sophia Antipolis, France. This role involves performing testing service to key customers, improving confidence in released software builds.

Candidates should have strong experience in network security, preferably in a technical support or QA role, including the ability to set up testing environments and execute test cases.

A graduate of a network engineering school with over five years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Over five years of experience in network security, technical support, or QA.
• Advanced knowledge of English, other languages are an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Testing Fortinet products in production environments following CRT processes.
• Writing project-related documents like Test Plans and methods.
• Provisioning the System Under Test to simulate customer environments.
• Configuring traffic generators for traffic simulation.
• Defining and executing test cases based on requirements.
• Documenting all test results for customers.

Connaissances

Proficient spoken and written English

Strong understanding of data networking protocols (TCP/IP)

Presentation and technical documentation skills

Troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of application and security testing tools

Experience with security products (firewalls, IDS/IPS)

Understanding of web application security

Experience with Fortinet products

Scripting knowledge
