AVENTA in Paris is seeking an Operations Engineer to support shallow water cable installation campaigns. You will bridge engineering deliverables and field execution, coordinating vessels, logistics, and interfaces with port authorities to ensure safe, on-schedule campaigns.

The role suits a driven engineer with 3–5 years of offshore or nearshore experience, eager to develop in a specialist, high-growth environment. English is the project and company working language.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in offshore, nearshore, or marine project operations
• Exposure to marine installation or subsea cable operations
• Ability to work across engineering, logistics, HSE, and client interfaces
• Strong organisational skills with multiple workstreams and detailed records

Responsabilités

• Contribute to pre-operational plans for shallow water campaigns including lay sequences, pull-in procedures and vessel mobilisation schedules
• Coordinate with vessel owners, port agents and marine contractors to prep operational logistics
• Support regulatory submissions and marine coordination documents with port authorities
• Assist in risk assessments and HSE documentation for nearshore operations
• Serve as operational interface between engineering and field execution teams during campaigns
• Monitor progress against schedule and coordinate corrective actions with the project team
• Manage day-to-day logistics: vessel positioning, crew coordination, equipment supply, weather monitoring
• Liaise with survey teams and client representatives during offshore operations
• Maintain operational reporting and logs
