Description du poste

The Operations Coordinator is a key enabling role within Enshore Subsea’s project execution team. Working under the direction of the Operations Manager, the post holder is responsible for ensuring that all operational readiness activities are planned, coordinated, and delivered on time and within budget across the full project lifecycle — from early mobilisation planning through to first-of-steel and daily operational rhythm. The role spans barge and vessel readiness, mission-equipment integration, cable load-out logistics, port and quayside organisation, and real-time operational follow-up, making it a pivotal interface between onshore project teams, port authorities, client representatives, and offshore crews.

Due to the operational nature of this role, candidates should be flexible and willing to work up to seven days a week when required. Any additional days worked may attract compensation in accordance with applicable French statutory requirements and Company policy.

Equipment Readiness for Projects
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the Equipment Readiness Matrix, tracking completion status for all mission-critical equipment against project/company milestones and key dates.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery, inspection, and staging of all project-specific equipment on board.
  • Liaise with the relevant teams to confirm deck space allocation, structural capacity, and securing arrangements are compliant with project load plans.
  • Monitor readiness punch-list items and drive timely close-out, escalating risks to the Operations Director as required.
  • Ensure all equipment certifications, inspection records, and pre-mobilisation documentation are compiled and archived ahead of vessel departure.
  • Support the development and review of deck-loading plans, rigging studies, and sea-fastening schemes in coordination with the Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS).
Site Integration Testing
  • Plan and coordinate the full Site Integration Test (SIT) program for all project systems installed on the assigned vessel, including cable handling equipment, tensioners, trencher systems, and ancillary equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain the SIT schedule, ensuring interfaces between disciplines (mechanical, electrical, control systems, communications) are identified and managed.
  • Act as the primary onshore coordinator during SIT campaigns, tracking progress, recording test results, and maintaining the test-exception register
  • Coordinate third-party witness requirements (client, certification authority, MWS) and ensure all notifications and access arrangements are in place
  • Facilitate the close-out of outstanding SIT punch items and obtain the required sign-offs before mobilisation.
  • Issue and distribute daily SIT progress reports to project stakeholders.
Project Cable Load Out & Port / Quayside Organisation
  • Develop and own the cable load-out plan in close cooperation with the Cable Engineer, vessel crew, and port authorities, covering scheduling, equipment requirements, personnel mobilisation, and health & safety controls.
  • Coordinate with the port/terminal operator to secure quayside access, berth windows, crane and equipment hire, and utilities required for load-out operations.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all quayside logistics during the load-out campaign, including traffic management, security access, visitor coordination, and waste management.
  • Oversee and monitor cable transfer operations in real time, ensuring adherence to approved procedures, route maps, and tension / speed limits.
  • Maintain an accurate record of cable quantities loaded, drum/turntable configurations, and any product deviations, and ensure these are reflected in as-built documentation.
  • Coordinate the mobilisation of specialist equipment to the quayside and ensure timely removal post-load-out.
  • Ensure compliance with port health and safety regulations, and interface with the project HSE function for RAMS approval and permit-to-work management during quayside activities.
  • Develop and manage the overall Mobilisation Plan, including personnel mobilisation schedules, equipment installation sequences, and pre-sail checklists.
  • Coordinate the phased installation and commissioning of all project-specific equipment on the assigned vessel in accordance with the project schedule and vessel operations manual.
  • Manage the mobilisation budget tracker, monitor expenditure against budget, and provide regular cost reports to the Operations Director and Project Manager.
  • Interface with the assigned Vessel/Barge Master to align mobilisation activities with vessel operations, safety management system requirements, and flag-state / class obligations.
  • Ensure all crew and project personnel mobilizing to the vessel hold valid certification, medical, and project-specific competency documentation, coordinating with HR and HSE.
  • Prepare and distribute the Vessel Mobilisation Status Report on a regular cadence until sail-away, ensuring all stakeholders have visibility of progress and outstanding actions.
  • Support demobilisation planning from the outset to ensure efficient and safe equipment removal and vessel hand back at project completion.
Day-to-Day Operations Follow-Up
  • Serve as the primary onshore operational interface for the vessel during project execution, maintaining regular communication with the offshore team and client representative.
  • Coordinate daily operational reporting, review offshore daily reports (ODRs), and distribute to onshore project stakeholders with commentary as required.
  • Track production progress against the project plan, flagging deviations, delays, and emerging risks to the Operations Director in a timely manner.
  • Support the logistics chain for ongoing vessel supply, including personnel transfers, consumables, spare parts, and third-party technician mobilisation.
  • Coordinate responses to operational technical queries (TQs) between the offshore team and onshore engineering, ensuring answers are provided within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain the project operations log and action tracker, ensuring all decisions, deviations, and non-conformances are recorded and progressed.
  • Attend daily / weekly project progress calls and take responsibility for operations-related action items.
