Nexans is seeking a Specialist Engineer-Survey based in Nantes, France. You will evaluate survey proposals, specify equipment and personnel for installation vessels, and contribute to project plans, analyses and documentation.

You will develop technical survey solutions in collaboration with Marine disciplines, and participate in QA and HSE activities across projects. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Preferable BSc or MSc in Hydrographic surveying, Geophysics, Geology, Geomatics or similar.
• Long experience can substitute formal education.
• Over 10 years of offshore or subsea operations experience; roles like project surveyor or survey manager.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate survey proposals and specify survey equipment/personnel for installation vessels.
• Provide survey input to procedures, plans, analyses and calculations.
• Develop technical solutions and methods for marine cable laying and subsea protection.
• Participate in QA and HSE activities within the department and projects.
