A leading energy services company in Paris is seeking an experienced Project Planner for an offshore cable installation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring alignment with stakeholders. Candidates should have at least 7 years of relevant experience, be proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, and possess excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' experience as Project Planner in the cable lay or subsea industry.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of project planning methodologies and offshore project environments.

Project Planner – Offshore Cable Installation – Paris Based

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Planner to join a major offshore cable installation and burial project. The position is based in Paris and involves planning support for complex subsea operations.

Location: Paris, France

Contract type: CDI With the client

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Monitor progress, develop S-curves, and track milestones and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact schedule, cost, or scope.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and key stakeholders to align planning activities.
• Support budget tracking, resource allocation, and procurement timelines.
• Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management.

Profile required:

• Minimum 7 years' experience as Project Planner in the cable lay or subsea industry.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of project planning methodologies and offshore project environments.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field.
• Experience in subsea cable installation and burial is highly desirable.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word.
