The City of Southaven is seeking an IT Support Specialist to troubleshoot and support municipal employees. You will provide service desk support for all municipal technology systems and deploy/manage desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and peripherals using centralized endpoint management tools.

Responsibilities include supporting Microsoft 365 applications, MFA enrollment, password management, and maintaining technical documentation.

Qualifications

• IT support desk experience to include Help Desk and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience installing, administering and troubleshooting Windows computers and laptops.
• Experience troubleshooting Active Directory, TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS within a LAN.
• Experience with WebEx, Zoom, Teams rooms systems, and other audio/video conferencing technologies as well as mobile device management and support.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud/on premise Microsoft Eco system.
• Experience configuring Cisco/Aruba switches.

Responsabilités

• Provide service desk support for all municipal technology systems.
• Deploys and manages desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and peripherals using centralized endpoint management tools.
• Supports Microsoft 365 applications and cloud-based productivity services.
• Assists users with MFA enrollment and password management.
• Creates and maintains technical documentation.
• Performs endpoint security monitoring and remediation under supervision.
• Maintains asset inventory and lifecycle tracking.
• Serves as 24/7 on-call position supporting City IT functions, which includes but is not limited to: Parks, Utilities and Public Safety.
• Prepares City Board Meeting room for Mayor and Board Meetings including sound system, distribution of IPAD devices for use of Alderpersons and controlling the public display of meeting packet on large screen.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
