Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking an aerospace engineer to solve and validate aerodynamic and fluid-dynamics problems. You will translate physical requirements into computational models and solver-ready cases, create geometries and meshes, and run CFD workflows using command-line tools.

You will also review AI-generated solutions to spot invalid configurations and unrealistic outputs. The role requires an MS or PhD in aerospace or mechanical engineering with a focus on aerodynamics or thermofluids,

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Aerospace Engineering or MS in Mechanical Engineering with aerodynamics focus.
• Solid understanding of fluid mechanics and applied aerodynamics.
• Experience formulating and executing CFD or aerodynamic analyses.
• Practical proficiency with Python.
• Experience with at least one CLI-enabled engineering tool or library.

Requirements

• An MS or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with an aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, or thermofluids specialization.

• Experience formulating and executing CFD or aerodynamic analyses.
• Practical proficiency with Python.
• Experience with at least one engineering tool or library that can be operated through a CLI, scripting interface, configuration files, or programmatic API.
