Advocate Health is hiring an experienced RN to join our maternity nursing team. This full-time role involves applying the nursing process to deliver high‑quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining accurate EHR documentation.

The position requires a current RN license and BLS certification, with BSN preferred for advancement, and may require float shifts within the service area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification required; RN license valid in applicable states.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• BSN preferred for preferred candidate.

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation and promotes safety.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and supports ethical patient care.
