Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Logistics and Materials Planner to support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of raw materials and consumables for the plant's production activities. You will work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the right materials are available at the right time to support production continuity.

The role emphasizes autonomy, attention to detail, and strong English communication skills, in a dynamic industrial environment.

Qualifications

Degree in Transport & Logistics or related field.
Experience in logistics, procurement or inventory management.
Ability to work in a dynamic production environment requiring planning, accuracy and responsiveness.
Autonomy, attention to detail, analytical mindset and problem-solving.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal teams and external partners.
Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Generate and manage purchase orders for raw materials and consumables per production plan, manually or via MRP.
Monitor material requirements to ensure timely availability for production.
Act as liaison between plant and external suppliers for effective communication.
Follow up on material deliveries and help resolve supply-related issues.
Coordinate storage of raw materials and consumables to support operational needs.
Contribute to the efficiency and reliability of logistics and supply chain activities.
