Prysmian is seeking a Logistics and Materials Planner to support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of raw materials and consumables for the plant's production activities. Job description

Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the planning, coordination, and monitoring of raw materials and consumables required for the plant's production activities.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you will help ensure the right materials are available at the right time to support production continuity and operational performance.

Your Role

• Generate and manage purchase orders for raw materials and consumables according to the production plan, either manually or automatically through the MRP system.
• Monitor material requirements and help ensure the timely availability of supplies needed for production.
• Act as a key interface between the plant and external suppliers, supporting effective communication and coordination.
• Follow up on material deliveries and contribute to resolving supply-related issues when required.
• Manage and coordinate the physical storage of raw materials and consumables, ensuring materials are properly organized and available to support operational needs.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and reliability of logistics and supply chain activities within the plant.

Your Experience

• You hold a degree in Transport & Logistics, Production Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• You bring a proven professional experience within logistics, supply management, procurement and/or inventory management, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• You are comfortable working in a dynamic production environment where planning, accuracy, and responsiveness are essential.
• You are recognized for your autonomy, attention to detail, analytical mindset, efficiency, and problem-solving approach.
• You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy collaborating with both internal teams and external partners.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
