MergerCircle is seeking an M&A Associate to own client project delivery, lead conversations with clients and targets, and supervise analysts. You will drive end-to-end execution from search to introductions, and manage timelines and expectations to ensure high-quality outcomes with cross-border exposure.

Qualifications

• Background: 1 to 3 years of experience in M&A, private equity, transaction services, strategy consulting or audit.
• Client-facing: comfortable leading a call with a client, a founder or a CEO.
• Strong execution: deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and be proactive.
• Analytical and rigorous: problem solving with attention to detail; data-driven sourcing is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, hands-on and interested in shaping how things are done.

Responsabilités

• Own the delivery of client mandates end to end, from search criteria to longlist and introductions.
• Lead ongoing conversations with clients during projects: updates, reviews and next steps.
• Supervise one or two analysts on projects: brief, review, give feedback and train.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose fixes to internal processes and tools.
• Work with the Tech team to improve sourcing and outreach stack used daily.
