Job summary

SPIE Operations in Île-de-France (Cergy area) seeks a Transaction Execution Analyst to perform financial analysis of potential acquisition targets, build models, and support valuation analyses for deal execution within a corporate M&A context.

The role also covers origination and market intelligence, sector and competitor research, maintaining M&A databases, and coordinating with internal teams and external advisors for due diligence and investment memos.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in corporate finance, M&A or related field.
• Specialisation in Corporate Finance, Finance or M&A.
• Approximately 3 years of experience in Transaction Services, Valuation, or corporate M&A.
• Experience with mid-cap / small-cap transactions valued highly.

• Perform financial analysis of potential acquisition targets

• Work together with internal M&A teams and internal BU or HQ experts


• Prepare internal materials: investment memos, due diligence summaries, investment committee presentation and Board of Directors presentations


• Prepare the Group M&A pipeline dashboard and the Group M&A reporting

Education

• Master's degree (Bac+5 equivalent) from a leading Business School or Engineering School


• Specialisation in Corporate Finance, Finance or M&A

Professional Experience

• ~3 years of professional experience, ideally in Transaction Services activities / Valuation / Corporate Finance department / Corporate M&A environment


• Strong exposure to financial analysis, due diligence and transaction execution


• Experience with mid‑cap / small‑cap transactions is highly valued
