Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Paris is seeking a Chef de rang to join the room service team. You will ensure a premium dining experience for guests, serving orders efficiently and with meticulous presentation.

Based in Paris, you will work under IRD managers, upholding the brand's standards of service, discretion, and guest satisfaction while coordinating with other hotel departments to meet guest expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury or upscale hotel.
• Fluency in French and English; a third language is a plus.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth in-room dining service with accuracy and speed.
• Take and process guest orders with professionalism.
• Set up and present trays, trolleys, and in-room dining equipment.
• Maintain courteous, discreet guest relations and anticipate needs.
• Coordinate guest amenities and minibars as required.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the room service area.
• Collaborate with Room Service Supervisor for timely service.
