Jobtailor is seeking a systems administrator to maintain and secure client infrastructure, implement Linux/Solaris solutions, and automate processes. The role requires coordinating with software vendors and traveling to data centers to service equipment.

The ideal candidate has Linux expertise, experience with VMware ESX/Horizon, and knowledge of PostgreSQL/Oracle/SQL Server, with a proactive, autonomous approach and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of systems administration experience in similar environments.
Strong Linux expertise is essential.
Proficiency in Exchange, NetBackup, Quantum Scalar i3, VMware ESX and Horizon, EMC storage, Nagios, and Control-M.
Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Solaris.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
Thoroughness, strong summarization skills, and autonomy.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good listening skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Proactive approach and technological curiosity.
