The candidate will deploy and secure Linux workloads, automate recurring tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams under the Head of Systems and Network Technical Operations.

• Administer and enhance Linux infrastructures
• Deploy, administer, and ensure the operational and security maintenance of Linux environments and virtualized infrastructures
• Operate Cloud environments, databases, and associated services
• Improve the reliability and automate recurring operations while maintaining technical documentation
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitLab
• Automate and industrialize deployments with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible
• Enhance observability with Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK
• Develop and operate HPC platforms for educational, research, AI, and scientific computing use cases
• Integrate and maintain CPU/GPU environments with Slurm, OpenOnDemand, JupyterHub, and Apptainer
• Support advanced users in operating HPC environments
• Apply security best practices, monitor logs, and remediate vulnerabilities
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support and resolve complex incidents
• Participate in coordinating cross-functional projects with internal teams
• Work across France under the responsibility of the Head of Systems and Network Technical Operations

Requirements

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science
• Ideally, at least 4 years of experience in Linux systems administration
• Proficiency in scripting, particularly Shell and/or Python
• Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of virtualized environments and networking
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices
• Awareness of security, operational maintenance, and security maintenance requirements
• Experience in DevOps, containerization, or Infrastructure as Code would be a strong advantage
• Knowledge of HPC, Slurm, or GPU environments is a plus
• Technical curiosity
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Motivation to automate and improve the reliability of environments
