Jobtailor is seeking a systems administrator to maintain and secure client infrastructure, implement Linux/Solaris solutions, and automate processes. The role requires coordinating with software vendors and traveling to data centers to service equipment.

The ideal candidate has Linux expertise, experience with VMware ESX/Horizon, and knowledge of PostgreSQL/Oracle/SQL Server, with a proactive, autonomous approach and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of systems administration experience in similar environments.
• Strong Linux expertise is essential.
• Proficiency in Exchange, NetBackup, Quantum Scalar i3, VMware ESX and Horizon, EMC storage, Nagios, and Control-M.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Solaris.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Thoroughness, strong summarization skills, and autonomy.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good listening skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Proactive approach and technological curiosity.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the operational maintenance and security maintenance of the client’s systems infrastructure.
• Manage changes.
• Implement and maintain Linux and Solaris solutions.
• Participate in tool migration and modernization projects.
• Automate processes and improve existing procedures.
• Coordinate with software vendors and monitor product developments.
• Travel to data centers to work on equipment.
• Prepare documentation.
