Jobtailor is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain and secure client systems, manage changes, and implement Exchange/VMware solutions. You will participate in migrations, automate processes, and coordinate with vendors. Travel to data centers may be required, and documentation must be prepared and kept up to date.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of systems administration experience, strong in Windows/Exchange/VMware, and a proactive, analytical mindset to work within a team.

Responsibilities

Ensure the operational maintenance and security maintenance of the client’s systems infrastructure
Manage changes to the client’s information system
Implement and maintain Exchange and VMware solutions
Participate in tool migration and modernization projects
Automate processes and improve existing procedures
Coordinate with software vendors and monitor product developments
Travel to data centers to work on equipment
Prepare and maintain documentation

Requirements

At least 2 years of systems administration experience in similar environments
Strong proficiency in Windows, Exchange, and VMware environments is essential
Proficiency in Exchange, NetBackup, Quantum Scalar i3, VMware ESX and Horizon, EMC storage, Nagios, and Control-M
Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Solaris systems
Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
Thoroughness, strong analytical and summarization skills, and autonomy
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good listening skills and the ability to work as part of a team
A proactive mindset and technological curiosity
