Job summary

Voodoo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for our Playable Ads team as part of the Central Growth Team in Paris. You will lead key initiatives while staying hands-on with production and driving innovation in playable ad formats across games.

You will mentor a small team embedded within franchise squads, work with Growth managers and strategists, and push high-quality playable creatives with performance-driven workflows across multiple franchises.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in playable ad or game development.
• Hands-on and capable of mentoring peers.
• Experience with Unity (Luna) or Cocos Creator.
• Strong understanding of mobile marketing performance metrics.
• Fluent in English; French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a small team of playable ads developers/strategists embedded within franchise squads.
• Stay hands-on with playable ad production and contribute to creation of high-quality creatives.
• Oversee workflows, tooling, and best practices for the playable team.
• Drive innovation in playable ad formats and explore new mechanics and concepts.
• Collaborate with Growth Manager and strategists to align priorities with franchise objectives.
• Benchmark competitor playable ads and analyse data to improve quality and performance.
• Act as technical/strategic reference for development and marketing topics.
• Support rollout of playable ads across multiple game franchises and adapt formats to each title's strategy.
