Job summary

Voodoo is seeking a Playable Ads Chapter Lead to join the Central Growth Team in Paris. You will lead playable ads developers and strategists, stay hands-on with production, and drive innovation across formats for multiple game franchises.

You will mentor peers, shape the chapter's vision and processes, and collaborate with Growth managers to align priorities with franchise goals. Fluent English required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in playable ads or game development.
• Hands-on production capability with the ability to coordinate teams.
• Experience with Unity (Luna) or Cocos Creator.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools and asset generation.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Role

Voodoo is looking for a Playable Ads Chapter Lead to sit in the Central Growth Team. In this role, you'll lead key initiatives developed by our playable ads team, while staying hands-on with production and driving innovation in our playable ad formats across games.

Key tasks

• Lead and coach a team of playable ads developers/strategists embedded within franchise-dedicated squads, ensuring high autonomy and strong performance

• Stay hands-on with playable ad production, contributing directly to the creation and iteration of high-quality playable creatives

• Oversee operational topics for the playable team, including workflows, tooling, and best practices

• Drive innovation in playable ad formats, constantly exploring new mechanics, interactions, and creative concepts to stay ahead of market trends

• Collaborate closely with the Growth Manager and creative strategists to align on priorities and franchise-level objectives

• Benchmark competitor playable ads and analyze performance data to improve production quality and effectiveness

• Act as a technical and/or strategic reference for the team, providing guidance on both development and marketing performance topics

• Support the rollout of playable ads across multiple game franchises, adapting formats to each title's creative strategy

• Contribute to defining and evolving the playable ads chapter's vision, standards, and processes

Profile

• 4+ years of experience in playable ad or game development

• Hands-on, maker mindset - you're comfortable getting into production yourself while also stepping back to coordinate

• Experience with relevant playable ads development tools or frameworks Unity (Luna), Cocos Creator or other relevant platforms

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and web game development

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) and asset generation (Scenario, Flux, ElevenLabs)

• Solid understanding of mobile marketing performance metrics and creative testing

• Proven ability to mentor and coach peers

• You have entrepreneurial mindset and can adapt to a high-paced environment

• You can demonstrate excellent teamwork and collaboration skills

• You are fluent in English (fluency in French is a plus)
