HyLight is seeking a Senior GNC Engineer to lead modeling and control of the HyLighter airship. You will develop guidance laws to enable pilotless operation in diverse conditions and ensure regulatory-ready robustness, collaborating with the Technical and Regulatory teams.

You will integrate with embedded hardware, flight computers, actuators, and sensors, and contribute to flight tests, simulations, and future airship concepts. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• +6 years of professional GNC experience in drone, aerospace, or automotive industries.
• Heritage: part of a GNC/Flight Dynamics team that brought a product to market.

Responsabilités

• Model airship dynamics and design control/guide laws for mission execution.
• Develop flight strategies for difficult conditions and risk mitigation for degraded modes.
• Debug embedded systems and implement flight computers, actuators, and sensors.
• Define and participate in flight tests and simulations with thorough documentation.
• Improve performance of existing airships and contribute to future flight solutions.
