HyLight seeks an experienced software architect for its HyLighter platform, an autonomous hydrogen airship. You will own the embedded software architecture, define hardware abstractions, and implement CI/CD practices to ship flight software reliably.

You will work with PX4 and QGroundControl, extending the onboard and ground software, and drive future system architecture and tests as the team scales.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Strong embedded development background with a focus on software architecture.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
• Experience with PX4, MAVLink and QGroundControl.

Responsabilités

• Own the software architecture for embedded systems with clean interfaces.
• Build a hardware abstraction layer to unify sensors and actuators.
• Set up CI/CD and continuous development practices for reliable delivery.
• Integrate and extend PX4-based flight software and QGroundControl.
• Improve robustness of avionics and embedded software.
• Drive system-architecture studies for future features and payloads.
