Airbotics Talent in Paris is seeking a Head of Software to own embedded software across the platform and lead the engineering team. You will stay hands-on with firmware and embedded systems while establishing architecture, standards and secure development practices for reliable systems.

Based in Paris, you will design, implement and optimize firmware in C/C++, bring up hardware, develop for embedded Linux/RTOS, and drive security, testing and deployment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded software engineering experience in robotics or similar hardware environments.
• Deep hands-on C and C++ development on real hardware.
• Strong experience with embedded Linux and RTOS environments.

Responsabilités

• Own embedded software development end-to-end from firmware to deployment.
• Design, develop and maintain firmware for microcontrollers in bare-metal and RTOS environments.
• Architect and implement security at OS level, including encryption and secure storage.
• Lead the embedded software team and establish coding, testing and deployment standards.
• Collaborate with electronics, mechanical and autonomy engineers to translate system requirements into robust solutions.
