Marso Robotics in Paris is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, integrate and optimize software for our robots, enabling real-time interaction between AI and hardware. You will develop embedded Linux environments, integrate sensors, build ROS/ROS2 drivers, and tackle real-time performance challenges while ensuring safety and robustness.

Qualifications

Engineering degree in CS, electronics or robotics or equivalent experience.
Experience in embedded development and deploying on real systems.
Interest in deeptech robotics and hands-on pragmatism.
Strong focus on code quality and teamwork.
Knowledge of real-time constraints and safety principles.

Responsabilités

Design, port, and maintain an embedded Linux environment on robotic hardware.
Integrate and calibrate sensors (cameras, IMUs) for reliable software.
Develop and maintain ROS2 drivers and interfaces over CAN, SPI, I2C, UART.
Contribute to real-time architecture, latency optimization, and system robustness.
Collaborate with AI, hardware and mechatronics teams to validate robots in real environments.
Participate in field testing campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
