Monk AI is seeking an experienced Applied AI Team Lead (Computer Vision) to guide a small ML engineering and data science team in Paris. You will shape the model roadmap with Product and Engineering, drive CV research, and own end-to-end AI projects from exploration to deployment.

Strong Python and PyTorch skills are essential, with a proven leadership track record. You will work closely with Product, Backend, and Infra to ship production-grade models, manage datasets, and iterate to improve

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in applied ML / CV.
• 2+ years leading or mentoring engineers/data scientists.
• Strong knowledge of modern deep learning architectures for CV (object detection/segmentation/classification).
• Strong Python skills, comfortable with PyTorch code.
• Proficient in SQL and working with relational data.
• Experience with ClearML or NumPy.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a small team of ML engineers and data scientists (technical guidance, reviews, growth).
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape the model roadmap and own delivery end-to-end.
• Drive applied CV research to improve model accuracy, robustness, and generalization.
• Design, train, and iterate deep learning models (detection, instance segmentation, semantic segmentation, classification).
• Guide datasets construction with data engineering and annotation teams.
• Own end-to-end AI projects from exploration to deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Collaborate with Product, Backend, and Infra to ship models to production (API integration, performance, reliability, cost).
