WeMaintain is seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer to partner with the CTO on data across four countries, with a fully remote European setup. You’ll shape the analytics platform, own the modeling layer with dbt on BigQuery, and decide which metrics matter for operations.

Fluent SQL, data lakes expertise, and hands-on implementation are required as you collaborate with teams across the UK, France, Singapore, and Hong Kong to deliver trusted, data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Fluent in SQL, data lakes, transformation and ETL.
• End-to-end ownership of a data platform and pipeline.
• Ability to work remotely across multiple countries with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Ingest data into the data lake with new sources and fields across countries.
• Own the modeling layer with dbt on BigQuery, including tests and documentation.
• Define and standardize operational KPIs in collaboration with Operations.
• Roll out best practices across four countries and measure impact with evidence.
• Build analyses like churn, contract economics, and IoT device usage insights.
• Keep the platform fast and cost-efficient with BigQuery cost controls.
• Extend the platform with UDFs, signed links, and experiments with AI tools.
• Raise data quality standards and enforce governance across teams.
