Planet Pharma is seeking a laboratory technician to broaden experience within a world-class chemical and pharmaceutical environment. This on-site role involves coordinating laboratory-related service activities on a major industrial site and serving as a reliable point of contact between internal teams and external partners.

You will handle administrative tasks, documentation, and visitor records while ensuring compliance with site quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Background in chemistry, biology, or life sciences — BTS, Licence, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of exposure to a laboratory or regulated industrial environment.
• Comfortable with documentation, compliance, and administrative tasks.
• Organised and autonomous, comfortable on a large industrial site.
• Professional French; good English is a plus.

Are you a laboratory technician looking to broaden your experience within a world-class chemical and pharmaceutical environment?

We have an exciting on-site opportunity for a motivated candidate to join an established service team embedded within a major industrial site, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day coordination of laboratory-related service activities.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the coordination and facilitation of external lab supplier and service provider visits on a large chemical/pharmaceutical site
• Escorting visitors and service providers across the site, ensuring all access and safety procedures are correctly followed
• Acting as a reliable on-site point of contact between internal teams and external technical partners
• Handling associated administrative tasks including documentation, visitor records, intervention logs, and archiving
• Ensuring all activities comply with site quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Contributing to the smooth running of laboratory service operations on a day-to-day basis

What we're looking for

• Background in chemistry, biology, or a related life sciences discipline — BTS, Licence, or equivalent
• At least 1 year of exposure to a laboratory or regulated industrial environment, including apprenticeships or work-study programmes
• Comfortable with administrative tasks, documentation, and compliance procedures
• Organised, autonomous, and at ease working on a large industrial or pharmaceutical site
• Good interpersonal skills — you'll be the face of the team with external visitors daily
• Valid Category B driving licence — required for on-site mobility
• Professional French; good English is a plus
