You must reproduce Hangul text exactly, including hanja where present, and provide comprehensive page metadata. The role emphasizes meticulousness, consistency, and review by a second Korean expert to guarantee quality.

Qualifications

• Native Korean speaker with Hangul mastery.
• Experience in bilingual transcription or editorial work preferred.
• Character-level accuracy is essential; exact transcription required.
• Familiar with unfamiliar layouts and multi-column documents.

Responsabilités

• Source Korean PDFs and ensure multimodal elements are captured.
• Annotate page structure with region types and reading order.
• Record relationships between regions and figures/tables.
• Transcribe exact Hangul text, including hanja.
• Capture page metadata: language, type, source, dimensions, flags.
• Participate in peer review of work.
