A green tech company is seeking a Key Account Manager (ESS) to manage and develop strategic accounts in the French solar energy market. The role involves handling contracts, training clients, benchmarking products, and conducting market research. The ideal candidate holds a degree in electrical engineering, has at least two years of technical sales experience, and is fluent in both English and French. This position is based in Lyon or Paris and offers a vibrant multinational environment with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office and CRM software.
• Driving license and willingness to travel within France.

Overview

Your mission: Welcome to your new role at Sungrow (France), as our new Key Account Manager (ESS)!

What will you be doing in this exciting role?

• Managing and developing strategic accounts on the French solar energy market
• Handling contracts with existing customers
• Being the internal point of contact for your portfolio of clients
• Working with energy storage EPCs, developers and investors to train them on how to present our solutions
• Benchmarking Sungrow products against competition (both commercially & technically)
• Regular customer visits and participation in tradeshows and conferences
• Sales forecasting, reporting and market research
• Supporting establishment of local service structure
• Ideally you would be based in Lyon or Paris in terms of location

Your profile

Mandatory Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent engineering degree with a focus on energy
• Languages: English (C1 - fluent) and French (C1 - fluent)
• At least two years experience in technical sales, preferably in the renewable energy sector
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office and CRM software
• Driving license and willingness to travel within France
