Powerplants Australia is seeking a Junior Sales Engineer to assist in the design and costing of horticultural automation and logistics solutions, supporting the Division Manager. This entry-level role offers exposure to quotes, project scopes, and product specifications.

You will work with estimators and engineers to prepare drawings, parts lists, and technical support, while developing skills in project design and estimation within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering and practical concept design skills.
• Experience in AutoCAD.
• Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities (Word & Excel most important).
• Concept Design.
• Interest in project design, drafting and estimation.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Assist estimators & engineers to provide estimates, quotes, drawings and project designs.
• Support automation and labour-saving equipment, and fogging systems.
• Develop tools and processes to improve speed and accuracy of quotes.
• Create parts lists for projects.
• Maintain open communications with key stakeholders.
• Management of databases including parts and prices.
