Job summary

Solmax is seeking an IT Support Specialist at our Les Mureaux site in France, with initial duties at Bezons and then Les Mureaux from 2027 onward. You will provide hands-on IT support to local users, install and maintain desktops and laptops, resolve hardware, software, network, and M365 issues, and manage ticket requests while collaborating with international IT teams.

These products contribute to civil engineering and infrastructure projects, environmental protection initiatives, and industrial applications worldwide.

As part of a replacement, we are looking for a:

IT Support Specialist

Location: Bezons (95), France, then Les Mureaux (78), France from 2027 onwards

Reporting to the IT team and serving as the primary IT contact for the Bezons site and, subsequently, the Les Mureaux site, you will provide technical support to end users and help maintain the operational performance of IT equipment and services. You will work on a variety of technical issues and collaborate closely with international IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support to local users.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Manage and track user requests through the ticketing system.
• Assist with IT hardware deployment, refresh programs, and asset inventory management.
• Support user account administration, including employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives, including updates, patch management, and promotion of best practices.
• Collaborate with international IT teams on projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in IT support, help desk, or end-user support roles (excluding apprenticeships and internships).
• Solid knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft 365.
• Good understanding of networks, workstation environments, and ticket management tools.
• Professional level of English, allowing effective communication with international stakeholders.
