Executive IT Director: Shape the Future of a Global Leader

Are you a visionary IT leader with a proven track record of driving digital transformation? Do you excel at building high-performing teams, shaping comprehensive IT strategies, and aligning technology with global business objectives?

On behalf of our client, a leader in their industry, we are seeking a pivotal executive to drive their IT strategy forward. This is a unique opportunity to lead a multinational team, architect a robust technology roadmap, and spearhead innovative initiatives that will redefine their operational landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a global IT strategy that aligns with long-term business goals, focusing on both infrastructure and application modernization.
• Digital Transformation: Lead large-scale change management initiatives, driving the adoption of innovative technologies, collaborative platforms, and efficient project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Team & Talent Management: Cultivate, mentor, and inspire a diverse, multidisciplinary team of IT professionals, from systems engineers to cybersecurity specialists.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance: Establish and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols and risk management procedures to protect sensitive data and ensure full GDPR compliance across all operations.
• Vendor & Financial Management: Oversee IT budgets and manage key relationships with external partners and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment.
• Business Alignment: Partner with senior leadership and business units to deeply understand their needs, proactively identify technological opportunities, and translate them into a clear, actionable IT roadmap.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader who possesses a blend of technical depth and exceptional business acumen.

• A minimum of 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with significant time spent in a senior leadership or directorial role, ideally within a multi-location, international environment.
• A broad and deep understanding of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, applications (e.g., SAP or similar ERP systems), and modern cloud solutions.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a passion for talent development and an ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong financial management skills and a solid understanding of IT budget creation and oversight.
• Fluent in English is required; fluency in French is a significant advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are preferred.
