About the Role

An opportunity is available for an experienced IT Project Manager to support the development and transformation of information systems within the telecommunications sector.

The position focuses on managing IT projects supporting Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) operations, acting as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams.

The role involves managing projects from requirements gathering through implementation, ensuring effective delivery and continuous improvement of customer-facing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
• Prepare functional specifications, business requirements documents, and project documentation.
• Manage IT projects from initiation through deployment, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
• Support the development and optimisation of customer journeys, sales systems, and customer management tools.
• Oversee functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production releases.
• Manage change initiatives and support users during system implementation.
• Monitor post-deployment performance and resolve operational issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Higher education qualification in Information Systems, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in IT project management, business-side project ownership (MOA), or business analysis/AMOA within complex IT environments.
• Experience gathering business requirements and developing functional specifications.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
