As a Senior Project Delivery Specialist, you will oversee complex, high-impact projects that support the expansion of global mobile connectivity and eSIM services. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, external vendors, mobile network operators, and service partners to ensure successful project delivery across multiple markets. From planning and resource allocation to risk management and regulatory compliance, you will drive projects forward while maintaining high standards of quality, budget control, and execution. You will also coordinate technical network integrations, working closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Legal, and Product teams to deliver seamless solutions. In this fully remote, international environment, you will have the autonomy to make decisions, resolve challenges, and improve project governance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project delivery professional with telecommunications expertise who wants to contribute to innovative connectivity solutions used by travelers worldwide.

Accountabilities:
  • End-to-end project delivery: Manage complex, high-visibility projects aligned with strategic business objectives, ensuring effective execution and successful delivery across multiple workstreams.
  • Project planning and coordination: Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, milestones, deliverables, and critical paths.
  • Stakeholder management: Coordinate internal teams and external partners, including mobile network operators, vendors, suppliers, and service providers, to ensure timely and effective project execution.
  • Vendor and supplier oversight: Monitor external partners' performance against agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards, addressing delivery issues proactively.
  • Project governance and communication: Apply established project management methodologies and best practices to strengthen governance, maintain clear communication, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Performance tracking and reporting: Define project success metrics, monitor progress against objectives, and provide accurate status reports to support informed decision-making.
  • Risk and issue management: Identify potential risks, assess their impact, develop mitigation plans, and take proactive action to minimize disruptions to delivery.
  • Resource allocation and prioritization: Make informed decisions regarding resource leveling, competing priorities, and dependencies across concurrent projects.
  • Quality assurance: Collaborate with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to ensure appropriate testing, validation, and quality standards are applied throughout project lifecycle.
  • Technical network integration: Coordinate the integration of new mobile networks into the existing platform, ensuring technical activities are aligned with project requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Regulatory compliance: Manage compliance requirements for projects entering new markets, coordinating with Legal, Product Management, and other relevant teams as needed.
  • Escalation management: Act as the first point of escalation for project delivery challenges, resolving issues efficiently and engaging relevant stakeholders to maintain progress.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve project planning, execution, reporting, and delivery processes across international initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Telecommunications experience: At least three years of relevant professional experience in the mobile telecommunications industry.
  • Project delivery experience: At least six years of experience managing enterprise software deployment and integration projects, preferably involving complex technical environments and multiple stakeholders.
  • eSIM expertise: A solid understanding of eSIM technology, its applications, and its role in modern mobile connectivity services.
  • Mobile roaming knowledge: Familiarity with mobile roaming use cases and concepts, including passive and active roaming, international calling, and sponsored roaming.
  • Project management methodologies: Practical experience with different project management approaches, ranging from traditional Waterfall methodologies to Agile frameworks.
  • Project management certifications (preferred): PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or comparable project management training and certifications are advantageous.
  • Planning and execution skills: Strong capabilities in scope, schedule, budget, and resource management, including dependency mapping, critical path analysis, risk management, and project status reporting.
  • Risk management and problem-solving: A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges, make sound decisions, and resolve complex delivery issues.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across international teams and external stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical and business teams, manage competing priorities, and maintain productive relationships with vendors and partners.
  • Telecommunications technology knowledge (preferred): A basic understanding of mobile core network technologies and Operations Support Systems/Business Support Systems (OSS/BSS).
